How To Connect To Your Wifi

Wifi is a mechanism by which you can connect to internet without wire .If you are using wifi enable Laptop, Phone, Pc you can easily use the internet on it by configuring a wifi router for your broadband connection .After you’ve completed the initial wireless router setup , you have to add your device to  the network so you can use your home network to surf the web or to play online games whether you're sitting in your living room or relaxing in your backyard .

Here’s how to connect to a Wi-Fi network 


Step 1 :- 
Click on the start button and open control panel . 

Step 2 : - 

Double click on the network connection and open it.

Step 3 : - 

Open the Wireless Network Connection by double clicking on it.

Step 4 : - 

Then click on the properties of Wireless Network Connection and you will see three tabs : - 

1. General
2. Wireless Netwoks
3. Advanced

Step 5 : - 

Click on Wireless Networks Tab and you will see the option Preferred Networks  where you can add and remove your wireless connection  .Then click on Add button

Step 6 : - 

After clicking on add you have to add the details of your wireless connection.Enter the following details 

• Name of your SSID  : Enter name of your wireless connection .
• Network Authentication : Enter the network authentication to WPA-PSK and if you are not using any authentication then select None.
• Data Encryption          : AES .
• Network Key                : Enter the password of your wifi connection .
• Confirm the password in confirm network key .

Step 7 :-

Now after ensuring that all the entries are correct , click on ok .

Step 8 : - 

Then press ok and click on View Wireless Netwoks .

Step 9 : - 

Here you can see the available wireless connection and the connection status .If it is showing disconnected please make sure that the details you have enter in the configuration are correct and the wireless connection which you want to connect to is in your range.
