Constant users of facebook chat, receiving constant problems these days .Most user complaning about the facebook chat and facebook is also admit that there is a some problem in facebook chat and they are working on it to get it resolved .But what about those who are not able to chat with their friends and not able to communicate with anyone from facebook .I have also done many search and tried lots of thing but nothing works and then I came to know about Pidgin .Pidgin is a chat program which lets you log in to accounts on multiple chat networks simultaneously. This means that you can be chatting with friends on MSN, Google Talk , Yahoo , Facebook with a single chat program .Lets see how you can configure your facebook account with pidgin and always be connected with your friends.
- First download the Pidgin from below link
- Download Pidgin
- Double click on the setup and Run it .
- Click on Next , select your language and hit Ok .
- Click on Next .
- Click on Next and Finish .
- Select the destination folder where you want to save the Pidgin and click on Next .
- Click Finish and Run Pidgin .
- Click on Add .
- Enter the following info in Basic Tab .
- Protoco l: XMPP
- Username: Your Facebook Username
- Domain: chat.facebook.com
- Resource: Pidgin
- Password: Your facebook password
- Local alias: Your Name
- Click on Advance Tab and enter the following info :
- Connection Security : Use encryption if available
- Connection Port : 5222
- Connection Server : chat.facebook.com
- Click on Add .
- Now select the check box which contains the name of your facebook account and then click close .And after few seconds your accounts get connected and all contacts were properly displayed in the buddy list .
